We finally got temps into the 90's the last couple of days and I sure do not like that. The 80's are just fine by me. My son and daughter said it was about time summer has arrived. We had some rain last night and this morning is a bit cooler. G-kids went back to school last week. They all seem to like their respective teachers, which is a good thing. Soooo, not much going on around here with just me and the old man. Some housework,little as possible, for me and some mowing for him. Hoping he will get started back working on inside of hovel soon. would like to get things finished up in here. Has to be when he is ready though, she sighs. Sorry everything is one long paragraph but I can't figure out how to indent. Silly me, huh? I guess I have rambled on enough about nothing(helps me practice my typing). Need to get busy. Be time to pick up the boys soon.

Memorial Day

Many thanks to all the men and women who have given their lives to keep our country free. I know we have our problems but,this is still the best place in the world to live. The rain I was expecting has not materialized yet. No one here today except me and the H. The grand kids all went home last night. Got some housework done,yuk, rather be doing almost anything else. H has been doing outside work. Just learned from H that neighbor is getting married and moving away. Congratulations to her! I have never before kept a journal,so I have a lot to learn about this blogging thing.

Found Lost Blog

We finally found our blog,we thought it was lost in cyberspace. Z wants to put a picture he drew on but we cant figure that out just yet.The kids will be out of school soon. They had to go a few days longer because of days missed due to ice storm and snow days. The boys have turned into big wrestling fans and little one loves the wwe. The weather today has been quite warm. For a change it has not rained for the last few days. H got his garden planted finally,hope it does well.
